Twin Town Treatment Centers is now hiring Case Managers for all 6 Southern California locations: Mission Viejo, Orange, Los Alamitos, Torrance, Sherman Oaks and West Hollywood. Both day and evening positions are available.
Job Qualifications: Certified or registered with CCAPP, CADTP or other qualifying agency. Current TB and CPR. Must be able to pass a Live Scan background check and drug test. If in recovery, a minimum of one year abstinent. At least one year of experience with the following case management duties is preferred:
The Case Manager provides services to clients seeking SUD treatment including screening, assessment, admissions, treatment planning, coordination of care, referrals and discharge. Must have reliable transportation.
Knowledge of: Substance use treatment modalities - Assessment Individualized treatment planning - Signs and symptoms of detoxification/withdrawal - Documentation as it relates to case management services - Stages of change and ability to individualize client care - Motivational interviewing techniques - Clinical interventions to deal with resistance and defensiveness - Discharge planning that supports client progress and readiness - Basic computer skills - Experience with Drug Medi-Cal requirements is a plus
Essential Functions: Participate in a unified team approach, work closely with each client’s primary counselor to conduct screenings and ASAM assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate care with outside providers involved with the client’s treatment, provide clients with referrals, assist clients discharge planning, maintain accurate, complete and timely program records, monitor and document participant’s program progress, perform drug testing urinalysis specimen collection and screening, perform other duties as needed. Case management and documentation using an electronic medical record system.
Other Opportunities: Twin Town also has positions available for interns currently enrolled in an alcohol and drug studies program who need to complete volunteer hours for fieldwork. Our goal is to hire our interns after we have trained them and they have completed their intern hours.
