Accountability: Work as a team with the Program/Case Manager and Financial Empowerment Manager.
Description: To support and promote the mission, philosophy, values and goals of the WISEPlace “Steps to Independence” program by working directly with homeless women to facilitate their transition to permanent self-sufficiency.
Attend scheduled staff meetings
Maintain chart notes using standardized charting forms
Maintain consistent communication with staff through email
Follow policies and procedures
Work in collaboration with program staff
Accept other related responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director
Meet with residents for weekly case management sessions
Establish written individual goals with program participants
Review weekly goals during case management sessions
Monitor progress of program participants and make appropriate referrals
Settle disputes arising between/among program participants
Hours of work: 40 hours per week; variable work schedule including evening hours. Must be available for on-call duty during off-hours and weekends on a rotating basis with Program Manager and the Financial Empowerment Manager. Willing to work Wednesday evenings and rotating Saturdays.
Education: College degree in Social Science preferred, or a related field experience. Must have minimum of three years work experience in a related position.
Personal: Ability to work respectfully and effectively with the public, program participants and staff. Good oral and written communications skills, and proficiency with standard business computer software packages. Must be dependable, organized, compassionate, flexible and professional with an ability to maintain boundaries and ethics.
