CRI-Help is looking to hire a CCAPP or CADTP Certified Intake Specialist.

 

The Intake Specialist’s basic function is to assess applicants’ needs and eligibility for SUD (Substance Use Disorder) treatment and to determine our agency’s ability to meet applicants’ needs and to subsequently admit or refer applicants accordingly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Administer and complete screening interview forms in order to determine level of care and appropriateness of our program for the individual.
  • Identify “red flags” as described in the Policy and Procedure manual, and confer with the Senior Intake Specialist when “red flags” exist.
  • Assure all admission forms are accurately filled out.
  • Provide written and verbal descriptions of the program.
  • Provide referrals to clients and / or to their families as appropriate.
  • Obtain all proper authorizations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Senior Intake Specialist.

Educational Requirement

Must be a CCAPP or CADTP Certified substance use disorder counselor.

 

Experience

Must have two years of related work experience in admissions and intake procedures, including interfacing with the private and public sectors.

 

Special Conditions

If a recovering addict/alcoholic must have three years of continuous abstinence from drugs and/or alcohol and undergo random drug screening.
