North Hollywood Treatment Center is looking to hire full time Detox Support Technicians.

 

Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and orientation of Detox residents
  • Conduct searches of property and belongings for contraband
  • Measure vital signs and accurately record results
  • Complete all necessary client documentation, logs, maintenance reports, incident reports, etc.
  • Assist with general duties and indirect are as assigned by Detox Manager
  • Complete client observation/documentation as ordered by physician
  • Chart resident activities and conditions accurately and descriptively at least once per shift
  • Supervise and document all self-administered medications as per agency policy and procedure

 

Education/ Training:

  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have current classroom CPR / First Aid Training Certification
  • Must be registered or certified with CCAPP or CADTP

 

Experience:

  • Must have at least 1 year of qualifying job experience

 

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have excellent oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent written communication skills
  • Must have excellent client relations
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in identifying patterns common to this population
  • Must be able to accept direction and respond positively to supervision

 

Special Conditions:

  • If a recovering addict/alcoholic, you must have a minimum six months of continuous abstinence from drugs and/or alcohol and undergo random drug screening.
